I'M BRIAN BIRRELL

My photography journey started 14 years ago when I was working in the event services field. We had started to do a lot of uplighting and custom decoration for weddings and events and needed photos to document the work and be able to show perspective customers what we were able to do. From there the path split and I found myself more and more out and about with my camera. My goal had become to capture the everyday moments that so many of us pass by without even a second thought.

Being a fan of the outdoors I quickly found that my love of photography lent itself very well to photographing wildlife, nature and landscapes. I took several classes in photography at my local technical school and also came across a fantastic mentor who has taught me the art of photography. Everything in this world has it's own personality and it is my goal to find it and coax it out of the subjects that I photograph. I hope you enjoy your travels through my work as much as I have and do enjoy creating it.
